Scholarships
Definition
Scholarships are financial grants for students that do not have to be repaid. They are awarded based on academic achievement, social commitment or financial need. For MBA programs, there are special scholarships from foundations, companies and the business schools themselves – including merit-based, need-based and diversity scholarships.
Example: "She financed a third of her tuition through a scholarship."
