Action Learning

Definition

Action Learning is a practice-oriented learning method in MBA programs where students work in small teams to solve real business problems for partner companies. Unlike theoretical case studies, teams work on current challenges, develop solutions, and present them to management. Action Learning connects theory and practice, promotes teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Many top business schools use Action Learning as a central pedagogical element.

Example: "In action learning the team solved a real logistics problem from its employer."
