Rolling Admissions
Definition
Rolling Admissions refers to an admission process where applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis rather than in fixed rounds. Applicants receive their admission decision within a few weeks of submission. Advantage: More flexible planning. Disadvantage: Places and scholarships may already be allocated for late applications.
Example: "Thanks to rolling admissions he applied in March and started that September."
