Blended Learning
Definition
Blended Learning is a hybrid learning concept that combines in-person teaching with online elements. In the MBA context, this means: online modules for theoretical foundations (video lectures, interactive exercises, discussion forums), supplemented by in-person blocks for workshops, case studies, networking and exams. Benefits include the flexibility of online learning combined with the personal interaction and networking of in-person phases. Blended Learning MBA programs are ideal for working professionals who need flexibility but don't want to miss the campus experience.
Example: "In the blended learning format he studies online and meets the cohort on four on-campus weekends per semester."
