Bachelor
Definition
The Bachelor is the first professionally qualifying university degree and a prerequisite for a Master's program. A Bachelor's program typically lasts 3-4 years (180-240 ECTS) and provides fundamental subject knowledge. Common degrees are Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.).
Example: "With her Bachelor's in business informatics she meets the academic admission requirement for the MBA."
