Non-Consecutive Master
Definition
A non-consecutive Master's does not directly build on the Bachelor's degree and allows a change of subject. The MBA is the most well-known example. Requirements usually include a Bachelor's degree plus several years of professional experience. Non-consecutive Master's are often part-time and more practice-oriented.
Example: "As an engineer she took a non-consecutive Master's in general management."
