Ambidexterity
Definition
Ambidexterity is the leadership skill of running the existing core business efficiently (exploitation) while simultaneously daring radical innovation (exploration). In the AI- and transformation-driven economy of 2026, ambidexterity is considered one of the most important capabilities of modern executives and is trained deliberately in top MBA programs.
Example: "Ambidexterity means optimising the core business while building something new at the same time."
