EQUIS (Accreditation)
Definition
EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) is a European accreditation system for business schools, managed by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). EQUIS evaluates the entire institution and not just individual programs. It is one of the three most prestigious international accreditations alongside AACSB and AMBA.
Example: "EQUIS accreditation assesses the entire school, not just a single programme."
