Employability
Definition
Employability describes graduates' ability to secure work: how quickly they find a suitable role after graduation, what share is placed within three to six months and how sustainably role and salary develop. For programme selection, employability is more meaningful than a ranking position because it rests on verifiable metrics such as placement rate, employer lists and career service provision – figures you should ask about explicitly in an advisory conversation.
Example: "Graduate employability stands at 92 percent within three months."
Why this matters for your MBA
"Employability" is one of the terms you will come across when comparing MBA and Executive MBA programmes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland — in admission requirements, accreditation details or programme descriptions.
