Education Loan
Definition
An education loan is a purpose-specific loan for financing studies or continuing education. In Germany, KfW offers student loans (up to €650/month) and education loans (up to €7,200). In Austria, aws provides education loans. In Switzerland, cantonal banks offer corresponding products. Education loans typically have lower interest rates than regular consumer loans and repayment-free periods during studies.
Example: "He covered the remaining fees with a low-interest education loan."
