The MBA program – admission requirements and content

The Master of Business Administration can be obtained at universities or other educational institutions on a full-time or part-time basis. Many distance learning schools have it in their program. A full-time study takes at least one year, while a part-time study is expected to take 18 to 24 months. Distance learning must be scheduled for at least two years. The MBA program is primarily aimed at medical professionals, engineers, lawyers, and other natural scientists or humanities scholars.

The hurdles for admission are set high at some schools. A prerequisite is usually a bachelor's degree and at least one year of professional experience. However, the admission procedures are not uniformly regulated. Those who can demonstrate an exceptional professional career can in some cases be accepted even without a bachelor's degree.
