Die China Europe International Business School - kurz CEIBS - wurde im November 1994 als ein gemeinnütziges Gemeinschaftsunternehmen auf Basis einer Kooperation zwischen der chinesischen Regierung und der Europäischen Union in Shanghai gegründet. Die CEIBS ist ein herausragendes Beispiel für eine bestens funktionierende Zusammenarbeit zwischen China und der EU.
Sie ist heute die größte Business School am Festland Chinas und gehört zu den weltweit führenden Business Schools. Die School bietet 3 Studienprogramme, die sich regelmäßig im Ranking der Financial Times befinden. Zu den bekanntesten Partnern der CEIBS gehören die Shanghai Jiao Tong University und die European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
China Europe International Business School – briefly CEIBS – was founded in November 1994 in Shanghai as a not-for-profit joint venture and established under an agreement between MOFTEC and the European Commission. CEIBS is a prominent example of a very efficient cooperation between China and the EU. Today it is the biggest Business School on Chinas mainland and belongs to the worldwide leading Business Schools. The School offers 3 study programs which are regularly mentioned in the rankings of Financial Times. To the best known partners of the CEIBS belong Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
